Over the past two weeks Room 7 have been learning how to write effective metaphors. A metaphor is a direct comparison to an object/thing. One of our activities was we had to describe ourselves as a lolly, tree, vehicle, something in our community, a sandwich and a piece of clothing.
My favourite one that I made was Katie is a pohutakawa tree, lovely and bright.
